Znaide helps friends, families and other close-knit groups share what they have and remember who borrowed what.

Use case 1 of 3: Your next adventure may already be packed

  • Illustration of friends sharing camping and outdoor gear.

Your next adventure may already be packed

Your group hikes, camps, skis and snowboards together. One friend has a tent. Someone else has trekking poles. There are sleeping bags, a camping stove, skis and a snowboard spread across the group.

Add the gear to Znaide and everyone can see what is already available before buying or asking around.

    The useful things next door

You know and trust your neighbours. Instead of everyone owning the same occasional-use things, create a private group for the people around you.

A drill for a weekend repair. A ladder. A jigsaw. A travel cot when family visits. Children's toys or a balance bike that someone has already outgrown.

See what is around before buying another one.

One book club. One shared bookshelf.

Your Book Road club has hundreds of books between its members — but remembering who owns which book is another story.

Add the books you are happy to share to Znaide. When someone is choosing what to read next, they can check Book Road first.

And when you lend a book, Znaide helps you remember where it went.

How Znaide works

Create a Circle of people you trust, add useful things and check what your close people already have before buying something new.

  1. Create or join a Circle

A Circle is a private group of people you know and trust: family, friends, neighbours, a club or another community where people share things with each other.

  2. Add useful things

Add the things you are happy to share with your Circle. Take a photo and Znaide can help you add the details.

  3. Find what you need

Before buying something new, search among the things in your Circles. What you need may already be with someone you trust.

  4. Ask to borrow

If you find what you need, ask the owner whether you can borrow it. Znaide helps you find the thing and keep track, while you arrange the handoff between yourselves.

  5. Remember where your things are

When you lend something out, mark it as borrowed so you can see who has it now and keep it in view until it comes back.

Private by design

Your things aren't for everyone. Neither is Znaide.

Znaide is built around private Circles of people you know and trust. You choose where your things are shared. Your Circle catalogue is not turned into a public marketplace.
